1961 Falcon wagon, all stock except it has no transmission, but comes with everything for a 5-speed conversion. $700.
Dammit, I just sold a project car I didn't really have the time and space for. Universe stop mocking me!
...I'll probably go look at it this weekend.

Yeah, that's nice. Where is it at?

Dooooooo eeeeeeeeeet.
Even if the floorboards are trashed or other repairs are needed, pieces are pretty cheap. You can get a whole floorboard for $350 a side from Dearborn Classics, and smaller pieces for much less. Also, '61 with intact chrome edging for the side fillet (one year only! option!) and a roof rack, not to mention what appear to be the original hubcaps.

Is the area rust prone?

All of the northeast is rust prone.
That wagon is ok, but needs a lot of work still for a $5500 asking price.

Yeah, it is pretty appealing. I've owned a '62 comet & '65 falcon wagon(that was a rot box). So if the shell on this one is solid(especially the roof edges) it will be hard to pass up.

In case you need further encouragement, I have a Falcon 3-speed transI need to get rid of. If that's already a stick, there's *a* trans sourced. Not sure what kind of shape it's in, but I know it shifts, and I think it's only got ~70k on it.

I've been yearning over this for a couple days now and my tax return is on its way. If my mortgage wasn't 2 months behind this would be mine. best part is, this is only like 45 min from me!
